About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and clean wood‑burning, gas, and pellet stoves, inserts, and fireplaces.
- Comply with venting requirements, safety codes, manufacturer specifications, and local building regulations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with stoves, venting systems, blowers, igniters, and control components.
- Conduct chimney sweeping, deep cleanings, gasket replacements, and safety inspections.
- Read and interpret installation manuals, technical diagrams, and building plans.
- Prepare job sites by protecting flooring, moving furniture, and ensuring safe work areas.
- Safely load, unload, and transport heavy appliances using proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain inventory of parts, materials, and installation supplies on truck.
